Level 4 Diploma In Computing

• Successful completion of the NCC Education Level 3 International Foundation Diploma for Higher Education Studies (L3IFDHES).
• Successful completion of the NCC Education Level 3 Diploma in Computing (L3DC) (RQF).
• A local or international qualification considered equivalent to the L3DC or L3IFDHES, subject to approval by NCC Education.
• One A Level or equivalent, or an appropriate School Leaver’s Certificate deemed to be of a similar level and approved by NCC Education.
• Mature students may be considered with more than two years of relevant work experience, together with O Level/GCSE/iGCSE English and Mathematics or equivalent.

English Language Requirements

For candidates whose first language is not English, one of the following is required:

• IELTS 5.5 or equivalent.
• GCSE/iGCSE O Level English grade C/4 or equivalent.
• Successful completion of the free NCC Education Higher English Placement Test at an Accredited Partner Centre.

On successful completion of the NCC Education Level 4 Diploma in Computing, students can progress to a range of further study and career opportunities. The qualification provides a pathway to the NCC Education Level 5 Diploma in Computing, which is equivalent to the second year of a UK Bachelor's degree. Students may also be eligible to enter the second year of selected UK university degree programmes, subject to the individual university's admissions and progression requirements.

The NCC Education Level 4 Diploma in Computing consists of five core units and three mandatory specialist units, providing students with a broad foundation in computing alongside focused development of software and programming skills.

Students are assessed throughout the programme using a combination of assignments and examinations. Assessments for the units are offered across a number of assessment cycles throughout the year.
